If must have been extremely difficult for Percy Harvin to watch his teammates bring home a SEC Championship without him on the field. You fight all season to be in that game, then when the time comes, an injury prevents you from taking the field. But hope is not lost. We’ve just heard some good news for Percy Harvin.

“The heel (is) healing up, so I should be all right. I’ll go to practice just like I normally do, get a little bit more treatment and that’s pretty much it,” he said. “The doctor said that I should be up and running if not by the end of this week then by next week.”

When asked how bad he wants this… “So bad,” Harvin said. “I’ve just been trying to lay low, because I’ve wanted it so bad. The coaches have been telling me to relax and get healthy, so like I said, I’m doing pretty good right now”

So don’t worry Gator fans. This is encouraging news. I have no doubt that Percy Harvin will be ready for the big game.
