Florida wide receiver Percy Harvin submitted his paperwork to have his draft position evaluated by the NFL Draft Advisory Committee. The deadline to submit paperwork to get an evaluation from the NFL Draft Advisory Committee is January 4. The committee, which consists of 30 NFL scouts, will determine the potential of each player who submits paperwork. The deadline to declare for the 2009 NFL Draft is January 15.

Harvin, one of the nation’s most versatile and dangerous all-purpose threats, is expected to be a first-round pick. Harvin leads the Gators with 595 receiving yards and is third behind Chris Rainey and Tebow with 538 rushing yards. He also leads the team with 16 total touchdowns (9 rushing, 7 receiving).

This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone. We all knew the moment Percy put on a Gator uniform that his goal was to get to the NFL as quickly as possible. He has one more game left to showcase his ability to the NFL. He’s coming off an injury and will need to prove he’s healthy and able to play.

i sure hope he returns to uf with tebow. i dont even know if tebow is staying but we sure will be hurt if they leave early. lets just prey.

I think Percy should comeback. The NFL isn’t going anywhere. Even though everyone myself included know that he is the most dynamic player in this years draft hopefuls, He does kind of have a rep for getting hurt. That could cause some teams to second guess him, which they shouldnt, the man is freaking amazing with the pigskin. I think a good solid injury free year would do him alot more good then bad.Yes there is the risk of serious injury, but if he has a great year again without a serious injury that would raise his stock higher than it already is and possibly give him a bigger payday.plus im a huge fan and i want him to comeback for his dynasty championship.GO GATORS

Percy, please don’t leave us. The Gator Nation sees you as one of the best players in UF history. Go down in the history books with Jack Jackson, Reidel Anthony, Ike Hilliard, and Jacquez Greene. Give us just one more year……you won’t regret it!!! :)

One More Year!!!
