Percy Harvin is the ultimate Florida Gators. He wants to beat Oklahoma more then anything. David Jones of Florida Today wrote:

Virginia Beach native Percy Harvin plans to play Scrooge … on Oklahoma. So he won’t be in the Christmas mood this year.

While the rest of the Florida football team left Sunday to go home for the holidays, the Gators’ junior receiver is staying in Gainesville to work with assistant trainer Kyle Johnston for countless hours instead of opening presents.

“That’s how dedicated he is,” said Meyer, of Harvin’s decision to stay in Gainesville and continue to work out while the campus is empty. “He’s going to be here for Christmas, to get ready to go.”

Percy knows his teammates need him to be healthy for the big game. That’s why he is putting in all the extra hours to strengthen that ankle… and finally, we’re seeing some progress. “They moved him from the pool to the trampoline and then obviously the next thing will be the ground, hard surface,” Gators coach Urban Meyer said.
